[Machida] “International Exchange Food Fair” will be held at Machida Shibahiro where you can enjoy gourmet food from around the world!
The "Machida International Exchange Food Fair" brings together a variety of gourmet foods from all over the world, regardless of genre, with the theme of "Let's eat all the cuisines of the world." The event is held with the aim of being a place for international exchange and experiencing the world's cultures through food. In particular, we hope that by exposing our children to different cultures, they will be able to play an active role globally in the future. The International Exchange Food Fair will serve as a base for this and aims to contribute to the development of international community development.
A wide selection of world cuisine, rare miscellaneous goods, fashion, and more!
The venue will feature a large gathering of food and beverage booths, kitchen trucks, a bazaar with miscellaneous goods, fashion, folk crafts, and more, as well as workshops. There will also be a stamp rally that children can enjoy. This is your chance to experience different cultures around the world firsthand.

About the project
Purpose of the project
This event aims to deepen understanding of other cultures in Japan by introducing food cultures from around the world, and to encourage not only foreigners but also foreigners to deepen their understanding of other cultures.
We aim to realize a multicultural society where people from various minorities can live comfortably. In addition, since 2016, Sagamihara City, Yokohama City,In conjunction with the activities of "Novinye Children's Diner & Children's Terakoya" held in Machida City and other areas, local people can become involved in supporting children. We will also work to create a system for a "sustainable society" where we create places where people can support each other and support each other.

- In conjunction with the activities of the "Children's Cafeteria" and the "Food Pantry" (free food distribution), we will create a place where local people can be involved in supporting children.
- By having stallholders donate a portion of their sales to the children's cafeteria, we will create a system in which citizen participation in events will lead to support for local children.
