2nd Africa Heritage Festival
March 24-25, 2012 @ Fuchinobe Park, Sagamihara
Many African-rooed people are living in Japan. Many African-rooted children are also living in Japan. However, Africa is still a far away country for most Japanese, and few opportunities to experience African culture.
We hope that through the Africa Heritage Festival, we can introduce our attractive African culture and raise Japanese people's interest in African culture.
In order to have a good relationship between Japan and Africa, we also believe that it is important to introduce African culture to Japanese children who will carry the future of Japan. For this purpose, there are many workshops in the festival.
